GlobeCast World TV is a direct-to-home provider of free-to-air and Nagravision-encrypted ethnic television and audio channels via the Galaxy 25 satellite. It operates in North America and has recently launched services in Europe. GlobeCast World TV is a division of GlobeCast, which is owned by French telecom giant France Telecom.
In Europe, GlobeCast World TV provides a bouquet of ethnic channels from India and Pakistan. The service was officially launched in June 2007. It can be received via Intelsat 905 satellite.
It is the only North American network which carries Al Jazeera English.

Free-to-air channels on Galaxy 25 can be received in most parts of the United States, including Hawaii and southern Canada with a 75 cm (30") diameter dish and any MPEG-2 DVB compliant free-to-air receiver. For pay channels, GlobeCast provides subscribers with GlobeCast WorldTV-labeled receiver, model SE830 made by Taiwanese company Eastern Electronics Co., Ltd.
