Rickey Minor is a music director, composer, and music producer. He was Whitney Houston's musical director during her world tours. He is currently the bandleader on American Idol and Don't Forget the Lyrics!. There are rumors that he is going to bandlead the reality T.V. show Diana.
Rickey Minor has a wife Karen Denise and a son Sean Anthony. He has a book coming out "There's No Traffic on the Extra Mile," which is due to be released in January 2009. Minor currently resides in Southern California with his wife.
